Accessible, engaging and immersive teaching in the subject of civic education (CE) is essential for the development of young people's civic competences. Therefore, teachers are required to have knowledge and skills in a variety of areas that are often not within their direct expertise. This is why we, in collaboration with the "Zemlevezh" platform, initiated the project "Economists assisting civic education teaching in Bulgaria". The project aims to support civic education teachers by providing a set of practical and easily applicable lesson plans on economic topics.

Activities
The main activity of the project is the development of lesson plans on economic topics in the civic education curriculum to support teachers in their work. Some of the topics covered include market and planned economics, money and currency, contract law and legal aspects in economics, etc. These lessons are published in a handbook that will be distributed among civic education teachers and is already available on our website.
