The Christmas Miracles of Bulgaria is a campaign that aims to inspire acts of kindness and social engagement not only at Christmas, but 365 days a year. At its core lies the idea that through care and collective effort, goodness multiplies.

As part of the campaign, the calendar of good was created — a digital platform showcasing over 90 causes, initiatives, and stories of positive chang e from across the country. The campaign seeks to make visible the everyday efforts of civil society organizations and active citizens who support vulnerable groups, foster culture, protect nature, and carry out both small and large acts of kindness within their communities.

The project is implemented in cooperation with Amnesty International Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds, the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law, the Bulgarian Donors Forum, the AGORA Platform, The Convo Foundation and the Trust for Social Achievement.

Objectives

• To make the efforts of the civil society sector visible to the general public;

• To encourage people’s participation in volunteer initiatives, donation campaigns, and events;

• To inspire new good practices and greater social engagement;

• To promote causes related to education, culture, social support, and environmental protection.

Activities

• Daily “unlocking” of windows in the digital calendar between 20 November and 20 December, each presenting a cause, volunteer action, event, or personal story;

• Public presentation of stories and initiatives by civil society organizations through the media and social networks;

• Engagement of ambassadors and influencers who share the stories and inspire audiences to get involved;

• Encouraging calendar visitors to participate in initiatives, make donations, or share stories of kindness.
