Description: The project aims to support parents in Veliko Tarnovo and smaller localities nearby in explaining the upcoming introduction of the euro as official currency to their children in an accessible and engaging way. Free informational and educational resources will be created and published on the For the Children of Veliko Tarnovo portal and disseminated via a thematic newsletter.

Description: The project aims to conduct an advocacy campaign to restore access to therapeutic plasmapheresis treatment in Plovdiv for patients from remote areas in Southern Bulgaria, as part of the right to quality healthcare, with a focus on patients with rare diseases. Currently, such therapy is only available in major hospitals in Sofia and Varna, which a significant obstacle to access to treatment for patients from the southern parts of the country. The project will include an assessment of the existing regulatory framework and practice so as to develop an advocacy document reflecting the current needs and realities of patients outside Sofia and Varna. The document will serve as a basis for a series of advocacy meetings and informational activities targeting different stakeholders.

Description: The project aims to raise awareness and empower pregnant women in smaller towns and remote areas, especially those from marginalized groups, to uphold their rights in situations of medical discrimination and neglect, and to work towards creating a supportive environment. The project will include a series of on-site trainings as well as a communication campaign on the rights of pregnant and birthing women.

Place of implementation: Northwest, Northeast, Southeast and South central Bulgaria
Description: The project aims to give visibility and validate the experiences of women living with chronic gynaecological pain, whose symptoms have been systematically neglected by the healthcare system, especially in localities outside the major urban areas. By collecting at least 100 personal stories, publishing and sharing them through events and awareness-raising initiatives, the project will stimulate dialogue on the issue and carry out advocacy activities aimed at informing health and health education policies.

Place of implementation: Haskovo and villages in the municipality of Haskovo
Description: The project aims to raise awareness of EU rights and values among preschool children in rural areas by creating and disseminating innovative educational materials and play-based approaches. Educational games will be adapted and developed focusing on themes such as freedom, equality, solidarity, inclusion, and respect for diversity. Teachers from Vihrogonche kindergarten (a network of fourteen pre-school groups in thirty-four villages near Haskovo) will be trained in using interactive and play-based methods to introduce European values in early childhood education.
